Roofing, gutters, drywall and low voltage are subcontracted. We also bring in trade partners when they are a better fit for a particular project.

Design

On any project you can bring your own design team, or we can assemble the team for you.

How a job runs with us

• 1. First conversation. Your goals, your budget, and whether you already own the land.
• 2. Design and budget. With your design team or one we assemble. We look at what the land will allow and define the scope.
• 3. Contract. We finalize the build agreement and you meet your project team.
• 4. Permits. We obtain the permits before construction begins.
• 5. Construction. Site work, then foundation and framing, then utilities, then interior finishes. You get updates on progress and key inspections.
• 6. Delivery. We walk through the finished building with you. You receive a guide with the specs and materials.

Before the foundation, we evaluate the site: terrain, soil conditions and local regulations.

Residential and commercial

Most of what is described on this page is residential: single homes and multi-family housing. Small jobs are welcome too, not just full builds.

On commercial jobs we work as a trade contractor for exterior shell work and ground work, and we take on tenant improvements.

Why one contractor for several trades matters

Some general contractors outsource portions of a build. On an island, lining up several separate contractors can add time to a job.

We are set up differently. Our own crews do the excavation, grading, concrete, framing, plumbing, electrical and finishes. What that means on your job:

• The excavation and grading on a hard lot can start without waiting on another company's crew.
• Most of the trades report to one company.
• When you have a question, you talk to the people doing the building.

Questions we get

Do you build multi-family?

Yes. We do ground-up multi-family construction, including apartments and condominiums. We also renovate existing multi-family buildings.

Do I need plans before I call?

No. You can bring your own design team, or we can assemble the team for you.

Do you take smaller jobs?

Yes. A driveway, a leak or a panel swap is welcome. So is a full build.
