Revitalize Your Water System
with Replumbing

Replumbing can improve your home’s water quality, extending the life of your appliances and increasing your home’s value. During the process, we replace all the pipes in your home, even in your crawl space or basement.

Some home plumbing systems contain galvanized steel pipes. These pipes form corrosion and allow sediment to build up over time, diminishing your water supply and causing long-term problems for your plumbing. Durable materials like copper or PEX pipes will improve your water supply and reduce any clanging sounds typically caused by galvanized steel.

Signs You Need Replumbing Service

Most of your plumbing system lives inside the walls and under cabinets. It’s hard to know when you need to schedule replumbing. Here are a few signs that it’s time to contact us for service:

  • Unusual noises: If you notice clanging, rattling, or other unusual sounds coming from your pipes, that’s a sign that you need plumbing service. These noises could mean a pipe fitting is loose or that your pipes have excess sediment.
  • Water pressure changes: Any change in water pressure is a sign that something is not right with your plumbing. Low water pressure in one area or throughout your home is reason enough to contact a certified plumber.
  • Water quality issues: Corrosion within pipes can manifest in various ways, including discolored water, strange odors, or even flakes of rust. Replumbing or whole home water filtration can greatly improve your water quality.

The Replumbing Process

The process of replumbing your home could take a week or more. The time varies depending on the amount of existing damage and the size of your home. Each home is different, but our process looks something like this:

Consultation

We inspect your home to examine your plumbing and form a tailored replumbing plan. We discuss any problems we uncover and set up a date for service.

Permits

Once we schedule a service date, we will obtain any permits we need. Doing so ahead of time prevents any delays during the project.

Create Access

On the day we begin the project we will turn off the water supply to your home and drain the entire system. We may have to cut away parts of your walls in order to access the pipes.

Pipe Replacement

Once we create access everywhere we need it, we will get to the main part of the project. We remove the old pipes and replace them with new, high-quality pipes. Once we finish installing the new pipes, we will turn on the water.

Check for Problems

After we turn on the water, we will check the whole area for signs of leaks or any other problems. Addressing any problems immediately will prevent invasive plumbing repair in the future.

Finish the Job

After we correct any problems we find, we can patch up the walls, making them look good as new. Once we complete the replumbing process, you will enjoy a steady flow of clean water and even pressure throughout your home.
